Paula Karamihas

Paula Karamihas is in her first year as sports dietitian for the University of Maryland football team.

Paula completed her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland. She earned her master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport Science and a second bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Florida State University. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Maryland and was briefly a clinical dietitian for Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C.

While at Florida State, Paula assisted in the development of FSU’s sports nutrition department serving 18 teams. She primarily worked with football and was a part of the 2014 Rose Bowl team as well as the 2015 Peach Bowl team. Paula also worked with baseball and softball.

She is also an adjunct professor at North Florida Community College, teaching an online course in Fundamentals of Human Nutrition.
