Too often I see coaches reinforcing “jump higher”. When was the last time you saw a coach break down landing and cutting techniques? How much of a practice or a training session is focused on deceleration and body awareness? Try some of these tips and drills to help your athletes perform better, and more importantly, safer, on game day. The VertiMax is a great tool to incorporate into your athlete development program. If you don’t have this tool in your box of tricks, try using Jump Stretch bands and heavy dumbbells.
